We invite you to be part of Wonderfully Wicked, a formal dance showcase that celebrates the beauty of darkness, drama, and storytelling through movement.

This production explores the tension between grace and rebellion—where refinement meets bold expression. Each piece will be rich in emotion and theatricality, brought to life through choreography that is expressive, intentional, and captivating.

Whether you’re an experienced performer or stepping onto the stage for the first time, Wonderfully Wicked offers a space to connect, create, and move with purpose.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Dancers excited by storytelling, creativity, and performance

  • Individuals of all identities, backgrounds, and experience levels

  • A love for movement and expression—no partner required

  • Soloists, duets, small groups, and ensemble dancers

Each work will be thoughtfully crafted to highlight mood, character, and narrative, allowing dancers to embody elegance with an edge.

Rehearsals

  • Sundays between 1:00–4:00 PM

  • Beginning in January through April

  • Rehearsal blocks and casting will be finalized once submissions are received

This class operates within our ongoing punch card system, providing flexibility while supporting consistency and growth.

What Is an Ongoing Class?

Our ongoing performance classes are a core part of Sway Dance. Rather than a fixed-term course, these weekly classes run continuously, offering flexibility and community while building toward curated performance opportunities, such as Wonderfully Wicked.

  • Flexible attendance: We offer a 24-hour cancellation policy and virtual attendance tracking to support busy schedules.
    Please note: consistent attendance is required to participate in the showcase.

  • True performance experience: This is more than a class, it’s a complete creative process that culminates in a fully produced performance under professional lighting, in front of a live audience.
