Hello and welcome—I’m so glad you’re here!
I’m absolutely delighted to return for another round of Dancing with the Chamber and to guide you through this unforgettable experience. With over 20 years of experience working with brand-new dancers, I specialize in making the dance floor a fun, welcoming, and low-pressure place to be. My goal is simple: help you feel confident, comfortable, and ready to have a blast!
Whether this is your first time dancing or you’re reigniting an old spark, I’ll be with you every step of the way. Together, we’ll focus on learning something new, enjoying the process, and finding that special magic that only comes from performing on stage. You’ll gain a new skill, connect with your community, and get your business out in front of hundreds of new eyes. No stress—just movement, music, and momentum.
THE DANCERS
Curious how dancers are chosen for Dancing with the Chamber? All applications are thoughtfully reviewed by Chamber board members, who vote anonymously to select the final cast. The goal is to create a fun, dynamic lineup that reflects a range of personalities and backgrounds. Final decisions will be made by late August —so get your application in and get ready to shine!
Participation in "Dancing with the Chamber" is exclusive to active members of the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce. If you're not yet a member, we invite you to join our vibrant community. REHEARSALS
We begin in October! You’ll receive up to 15 lessons, each 30 minutes long, all covered by the Chamber. This total includes both your tech and dress rehearsals, so we’ll use our time wisely and joyfully.
Most of your rehearsals will take place in Brookfield, but you’re always welcome to schedule sessions at Sway in Chicago if that’s more convenient. As the show approaches, we’ll also rehearse on the actual stage.
I’ll be your main instructor during this process, but your professional partner from Sway will join you in Brookfield as we get closer to the show date. If you'd like to work with your partner earlier or more frequently, you can absolutely schedule additional sessions at Sway in Chicago.
COSTUMES
We’re incredibly lucky to have the wildly talented Nettie Naprovnik designing costumes again this year! She’ll come to Brookfield for fittings, and your base costume will be fully provided.
Want to add a little extra sparkle? You're welcome (but never required) to invest in things like special shoes, accessories, or custom touches. No pressure—just options!
TECH & DRESS REHEARSALS
Your technical rehearsal (for lighting, music, and stage spacing) is set for Friday, March 13th. Your slot will last about 15–30 minutes.
Our dress rehearsal will be a full show run-through, in costume and without stops. That’s scheduled for Friday, March 14th from 7:00–8:30pm.
SHOWTIME!
Dancing with the Chamber will take place on
Saturday, March 21st, 2026 at Riverside Brookfield High School.
All performers must be backstage by 6:00 PM sharp. We’re working on coordinating optional hair and makeup at the theater—if that’s not available, you’ll be responsible for your own prep ahead of time.
TICKETS
You're asked to sell 40 tickets to the event. They’re $30 each, but with your custom promo code, your supporters get $5 off. Your code also helps us track sales, so please make sure everyone uses it when purchasing!
Start spreading the word now—there’s no deadline, and the theater seats 692 people. Let’s fill every seat!
PROMOTION & MARKETING
You’ll receive a poster to hang in your place of business, and we’ll feature you on the Chamber website and an official Facebook event page. Please help build momentum—share, invite, comment, and engage! I’ll be posting teasers and behind-the-scenes moments, and we’ll spotlight one participant at a time to keep the buzz growing.
YOUR POSTER PHOTO
Our event photographer, Lisa Miller, will be reaching out soon to schedule a mini photoshoot at your business. The photo will be used on your custom promotional poster—smile wide!

AFTER PARTY
Once the final curtain falls, we celebrate!
Our after-party location is still TBD, but expect drinks, snacks, and well-earned joy. Tickets will be available for purchase—plan to join us for one last hurrah!
