Hello! I’m glad you’re here.

I'm absolutely thrilled to be back and part of this incredible journey once again! With over 20 years of experience working with brand-new dancers, I specialize in creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable, confident, and ready to have fun. My approach focuses on making dance accessible and enjoyable, ensuring that each session is both easy to follow and filled with energy.

No pressure—just pure enjoyment and learning. I believe that dance should be a celebration, and I'm here to guide each participant through the steps, helping them discover the joy of movement. Whether it's their first time on the dance floor or they're looking to rekindle their love for dance, I'm committed to making this experience unforgettable.

Performing is a unique thrill—there's nothing quite like the energy of the stage and the shared joy of dancing together. I aim to make that experience not just exciting but also approachable, ensuring that everyone feels the exhilaration of performing without the stress. Let's embrace the spotlight and have a blast!

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE

We’ll start in October! You are allotted 15 - 30 minute lessons paid for by the chamber. (dress rehearsal and tech rehearsal count toward this total, so you’ll have 13 lessons before the event)

Your first few rehearsals will be at Ms Clara’s space in Brookfield. You are welcome to schedule some time at Sway in Chicago if/whenever you’d like. We will get a few rehearsals on the stage when the date gets near.

Most of your lessons will be with ME! As the date comes near, your partner (A Sway professional) will travel to Brookfield to rehearse with you as well. If you want, you are welcome to schedule your rehearsals at Sway in Chicago with your partner as often as you’d like.

COSTUMES

We are CRAZY lucky to have the talented Ms Nettie Napravnik working on our show again this year! She will schedule time to come to Brookfield to measure you for costumes. Your basic costume will be provided by us! You are welcome to spend additional money on special shoes, jewelry, alterations and extras if you’d like. There is no pressure to add more! This is optional.
