We’re creating our biggest performance of the year — and we want YOU to be part of it.
Join us for Art in Motion, a dazzling dance showcase inspired by the work of local visual artists. This is a chance to be part of a bold, collaborative project that brings paintings, sculptures, and digital creations to life — through movement.

Whether you’re ready to take the stage or just beginning your dance journey, this is your moment to connect, create, and move with meaning.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Dancers excited about creativity, collaboration, and performance

  • Folks of all identities, backgrounds, and experience levels

  • A love for movement and storytelling — no partner or prior experience needed

  • Soloists, duets, groups, and anyone in between

This performance will be built from the ground up, inspired directly by artwork selected from our community. Each piece will be unique, emotional, and unforgettable — and you’ll be part of bringing it to life.

Rehearsals:

Sundays between 1–4pm, beginning August 10th through performance in December
(Rehearsal blocks and casting will be finalized once submissions are in)

Class is part of our ongoing punch card system, making it easy to join and stay consistent with your schedule.

What’s an Ongoing Class?

Our ongoing performance classes are the heart of Sway Dance. Instead of a fixed course, these weekly classes continue all year long, offering flexibility and community while building toward exciting onstage moments — like Art in Motion.

  • Flexible attendance: Can’t make every class? No worries — we offer a 24-hour cancellation policy, and track your attendance virtually. Consistent attendance is required to be apart of the showcase.

  • Real performance experience: This isn’t just class — it’s a full creative process that ends with a real performance, under real lights, in front of a real audience.
