Dip your toes into the world of social dancing with this fun and engaging class! This Starter class is a six-week series designed to introduce you to Salsa and Bachata.

Perfect for beginners or anyone curious about exploring different dances, this class builds confidence on the dance floor while keeping things fun and approachable. No partner needed—come solo or bring a friend!

FAQs

  • Comfortable clothing. Nothing too form fitting. Shoes that are attached to your foot (no flip flops or Crocs). If it is snowy/rainy outside, please bring a change of shoes to help keep our floors clean.

  • Nope! We rotate and all dancers will get experience dancing with several partners in class.

  • Nope! None! This is the best class to take if you have never danced before.

  • Level 2 is next! In Level 2 we switch to our ongoing class system. Like a punch-card, you are only charged for class when you attend.

  • Level 2 is for students who have taken at least one 6-week Starter session or who feel comfortable with the basic steps, rhythm, and partner connection. If you’re unsure, ask your instructor—we’re happy to help guide you. this would be good for level 2

  • These classes are designed for adults, typically ages 16+ with parental permission. Younger dancers can take our youth/teen programs instead.
