Sway Dance Chicago Presents: A Regency Ball
Don your best ball gown and come be whisked away to Regency Era England as Sway Dance Chicago transforms into an elegant royal ball.
Attendees will be entertained with food and of course, DANCE! All will be invited to participate in dance lessons of styles from the era into the night.
Arrive at 6:00pm to admire the talent of Sway Dance students as they present a short student showcase. Seating for the ball will begin at 7:00pm.
The feast shall commence promptly at 7:30pm. Dance lessons will begin after 8:30pm and this unique, one-of-a-kind social experience will last until your feet can no longer hold you! Let yourself be swept onto the floor and Sway the evening away to classical music (and of course, some classical music covers)! Mesmerizing performances will give your feet a rest throughout the evening.
And we do mean dress your BEST, as guests will compete for the Queens favor! Who will be crowned the diamond of the ball?
Bring your favorite electronic painter, as we will have wonderful backgrounds for immortalizing on canvas.
Make haste with your invitation as tickets are limited, and going fast!
Guests are encouraged to bring any drink they wish to consume, and if in the mood, some to share, just make sure YOU’LL be there!
Sway Dance events are always open to the public. Beginners are encouraged to attend. Join us!

Sway Dance Chicago is proud to announce our 8th Annual formal party (minus the 2 years COVID ruined us). Wind down the holiday season with a glorious, obligation-free party full of dancing, dramatic music, fanciful gowns, and scrumptious appetizers.
Pick up some new moves of your own and meet and mingle with other dancers in a Foxtrot lesson. Then the dance floor will open for social ballroom, swing, and latin dancing. Sprinkled throughout the evening will be additional mini-lessons in various dance styles.
Tickets are $35 per person

On Saturday, February 12th and Monday, February 14th choose from available time slots to come take a lesson with a private instructor. Feel free to come a little early, stay a little late. Dance as long as you'd like after and before your lesson.

Lesson start times are February 12th are between 4:00 - 10:45pm and February 14th are between 5:00 - 9:45pm.
Only 6 spots available for each time slot.
