Ready to take your moves to the stage?

Our performance groups are coming together to put on our summer showcase. Get groovy with us as we travel back in time to the 70s! The night will consist of solo, duo, trio, small groups, large group and so much more. Weather it’s your first or millionth time in front of an audience - we want YOU to join us in July for this magical night. Join our performance classes now to get started.

Rehearsals start Sunday, March 17th between 11am -2pm.

For this production, we welcome dancers of all experience levels. No partner is needed. We choreograph large groups, small groups, solos, duets, dances with props, short spotlights, long medleys and everything in between.

And, we're ready to get the party started.

Performance classes are a great way to expand upon existing skills or pick up some new moves. Have fun expressing yourself and meeting new friends all while staying active and getting in some exercise!

Dancers of all experience levels are encouraged to join us.

First class is free to try.

Performance class is paid for by by punch card. $130 for 10 classes. Weekly attendance is encouraged. However, when you miss class no money is lost with our punch card system. If there’s one thing the pandemic has taught us, it’s that choreography and performance can move on without being face to face! Even though we are back in person for our classes, we now also provide a Zoom link and Youtube videos for every performance class. Having these options provides the opportunity for you to learn from home, review on your own time and join us in person.

Performance Groups

The “Swayzees”

Sway Dance “Swayzees” Co-ed Performance Group is a community of dancers varying across all different backgrounds, skill levels, professions, and ages. Whether you are a looking for a new hobby or you want to take your skills to the next level, Swayzee classes are a place to express yourself while making friends, getting active, and showing off your skills at our quarterly parties and events!
No partner? No problem! Classes rotate for learning purposes in class to help you develop skills more quickly.
Rehearsals are every Sunday for 30 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the upcoming schedule/performance. Classes are $13/hour and purchased by a 10-hour punch card for $130.

The “Swayzettes”

Sway Dance “Swayzettes” Female Performance Group is made up of a strong community of ladies varying across all different backgrounds, skill levels, professions, and age. However, we have one thing in common – A love for movement and performance… and of course, who doesn’t love a wearing an awesome costume every now and then?!
We welcome new, lifelong, and “coming back to dance” dancers looking for opportunities to learn choreography, have fun, and perform at our quarterly parties and events. We offer a wide variety of classes to give our students a chance to experience different types of movement. Choreography includes Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Indian, Hip Hop/House, Tap, Modern, and more!
Rehearsals are every Sunday for 30 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the upcoming schedule/performance. Classes are $13/hour and are purchased by 10-hour punch cards for $130. Regular attendance is required since classes are progressive, but makeup sessions can be scheduled for occasional missed classes.

Showcases

Our performance groups participate in three showcases a year, culminating in our annual stage production each November. Have a blast, take your dancing to the next level, and be a part of a truly special experience.

Formal
Showcase

Time to get FANCY! This formal event is a magical evening filled with dance lessons, social dancing, performances and appetizers. We start the night with performances from the Swayzees, Swayzettes, Sway TAP, soloists and Sway Dance instructors.

Spring & Summer
Party

Dancers of all abilities, ages, backgrounds are welcome to join us! No partner needed.These parties are low key, fun and casual. We start the night with a dance lesson, then scatter mini lessons in throughout the night. Use this time to practice the moves you're learning in class while picking up some new figures/dances from other students. Sway Dance instructors are always there to help you along the way.
